The Huron Hosue Boys' Home Run/Walk/Skate/Bike is held on Father's Day each year.  All proceeds go directly to supporting the work of Huron House Boys' Home.  This morning event brings some 1,200 individuals together in a family atmosphere to either run 10 km., 5 km Fun Run, walk 5 km., skate 7 km., or bike 7 km.  Participants pay a registration fee as well as collect pledges in support of the Boys' Home.  New this year!  Activities begin at 8:00 am and everything is over by noon hour.  This is our 25th uninterrupted year of hosting this event.  All activites are at Mike Weir Park on Lakeshore Road in Bright's Grove.  Each of the Run, Walk, Skate, Bike events start and finsh at Mike Weir Park.  Each event takes a different route along the shoreline of Lake Huron and winds its way through Bright's Grove ending up back at the park.  There are prizes, awards and of course, a full pancake breakfast free to all particiapnts.  It's a great day and event and is something to share with the whole family.  Come out with your family, get some exercise, enjoy a breakfast and collect pledges to support the Boys' Home.
