How Huron House Gives Back To The Community

Huron House Boys' Home has an active and important role to play in the community. We believe that we need to give back to our community in our own unique way as a thank you to all those who support us over the years. As an example here are just some of the ways we assist our neighbours in accomplishing their own task.

- We do a spring clean-up of the grounds of the Huron Oaks Golf and Country Club
- We assist with directing traffic and parking needs during the Brigden Fair.
- We assist with directing traffic and parking during the annual Steamthreshers Fair.
- We assist with parking at the Alvinston Fair.
- We perform grass cutting and leaf raking jobs for seniors and the local church.
- The boys volunteer at local Seniors Homes.
- We offer the grounds of the Boys' Home and specifically the island sanctuary for wedding
