Visiting at the Residence:
Parents can visit their child at the residence pretty well anytime as long as it doesn’t interfere with the day to day functioning and responsibilities of the program. Parents should call the residence prior to visiting to ensure that the timing is appropriate.
Children usually have home visits every other weekend as long as their behaviour is appropriate. If the staff or parents have concerns about the feasibility of having a home visit, we try to re-schedule such a visit as soon as possible.
Telephoning your Child:
Children can send and receive telephone calls anytime as long as it does not interfere with the day to day activities of the program. A good time to call your son is between 4:00 and 5:00 pm or after 7:30 pm Monday to Friday or anytime on the weekend.
