Men Who Cook

20 Years of Men Who Cook — Saturday, March 2/19 at the Dante Club, 1330 London Road, Sarnia

Join in the fun at our 20th Men Who Cook “Ebony and Ivory” Gala Dinner Fundraiser.  To celebrate 20 years of Men Who Cook, we are going all out with a black and white theme for décor and attire.

In addition to wine tasting and delicious appetizers and main course dishes prepared by ‘celebrity cooks,’ there will be Raffles and Silent and Live Auctions.

Tickets are $90 each (portion of ticket price eligible for charitable donation receipt) and are available by calling 519-869-4000 or contacting Andrew Shaw at

About Men Who Cook Gala Night

Men Who Cook is a unique experience where invited guests enjoy food prepared by men who are leaders in the community.  It’s upscale yet casual, with lively entertainment and creative fundraising built in, but above all it is astonishingly great food.

Each cook prepares a dish ahead, enough to serve about 80 appetizer sized portions, and transports it to the Dante Club where he will serve it. The event includes a reception hour with appetizers and wine sampling followed by dinner.  Guests go to any number of cooks for sample size portions.  Cooks are with their guests or mingling with the crowd except when they are serving their food.

All our tickets are sold through cooks and committee members, so cooks are encouraged to promote the event to their friends and associates. It is a great way to enjoy great food and entertainment with friends or to entertain clients.

We hope that gives you a sense of how it works, and we hope you find it something you’d like to join! Please contact us if you’d like more information. We generally have an orientation session for new cooks as well to review the way things work and paint a clearer picture.

Our next Men Who Cook experience is on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Dante Club, 1330 London Road, Sarnia.
