For those considering Huron House for the care of a young individual, our admission process accommodates referrals through two primary channels:

Single Point of Access

In Sarnia-Lambton, a streamlined access system guides parents or guardians in identifying the most appropriate service for their needs. For community support, please reach out to an Intake Worker at STARRting Point, hosted by the Family Counselling Centre on Modeland Road (519-336-0120), who will assist in navigating available options.

Placing Agencies

We also accept direct referrals from agencies specializing in the care of youth with complex special needs, including Children’s Aid Societies. These referrals are crucial for connecting young individuals with the specialized support and care they require at Huron House.
