40th Annual Run/Walk/Bike

Since 1987, the “Boys’ Home Run” has been a feature of Bright’s Grove every Father’s Day. It has grown to include a 10k-timed road race, a 5k-timed run, a 5k walk, and a 7k bike ride. All participants get a free pancake breakfast and spectators can enjoy breakfast for a small fee.

People come from near and far to participate. Some are aiming for a new personal best on our flat fast route, while others are testing their abilities with a new distance, and many are there to enjoy a fun day with family and friends. All proceeds from this event stay within our local community and benefit the youth of Huron House. This is one of our largest fundraising events and helps ensure we can continue our work supporting youth mental health. If you are unable to join us in person and would like to participate virtually, we continue to have that option available.

We’re proud to be one of the local charities selected to take part in this year’s Behind Closed Doors fundraiser, hosted by Lambton Mall.

How It Works

Tickets are just $5 each. Every ticket you buy enters your name in a draw to win a $1,000 Lambton Mall gift card. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win. You don’t need to be present to win. Every dollar raised goes to support Huron House and the youth and families we serve in our community.

About The Event

Behind Closed Doors is a community fundraiser that brings local charities together at Lambton Mall. Each participating charity sells tickets to raise funds for its own programs, so your support stays local and helps neighbours right here in Sarnia-Lambton. It’s a simple way to give back, with a chance to win a great prize while you do.
